Are you looking for an opportunity to get more involved in ICCSSA? Consider joining the organization’s Executive Board this year! Your participation as a board member is a great way to develop and apply your leadership skills while also helping ICCSSA grow and improve. It’s also a great way to build your network across the state with colleagues who are as passionate about community college student services as you are.
We are currently accepting applications/nominations for the following vacancies:
- President-Elect: Three-year commitment to serve as President-Elect, President, and Past-President on the board. In these roles, this person will provide leadership and oversight in varying capacities depending on their years of service.
- Treasurer: Two-year term with the potential to run for one additional two-year term. Manages and reports organization’s finances and maintains accurate financial records. Must be bondable.
- Secretary: One-year term with the potential to run for one additional year of service in the role. Records and shares meeting minutes with board members. Assists with the coordination of events as needed.
- Member-at-Large (3): One-year term with the potential to run for one additional year of service in the role. Serves on committees and assists with the planning/execution of ICCSSA events.
For detailed descriptions of each of these roles, please refer to the ICCSSA Constitution (Pages 4-6, Sections A-F). Executive board members “meet” once per month via a one-hour conference call and also meet once each summer at the Executive Board retreat.
If you are interested in running for any of these positions, or would like to nominate a colleague, please send a one-paragraph professional bio and the position desired to Sara Clayton at snclayton@dmacc.edu by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, June 26th ** DEADLINE EXTENDED**.
