Spring Drive-In Conference-Updated facilitator information

Registration for the Spring Drive-in Conference is now available.  The conference will be held on Friday, April 21st at the DMACC-West campus.  The agenda for the event is as follows:

9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. — Check-In/Networking/Continental Breakfast

10:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. — Welcome

10:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.  — Department Of Education Panel consisting of Bureau Chief Barbara Burrows, Education Consultant, Amy Vybiral and Education Consultant Chris Russell

11:20 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. — Round Table #1

11:55 a.m. to 12:25 p.m. — Round Table #2

Round Table Topics:

  • “Fostering Inclusion and Hope for Refugee, Immigrant, and International Students”- Facilitated by Sarah Jo Purcell and Molly Schwarz, graduate students in the University of Iowa Educational Policy and Leadership Studies program
  • “Mental Health and Students in Crisis” – Facilitated by Landi Smith,  L.I.S.W and counselor at DMACC

12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. — Lunch & Subgroup Meetings

1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. — Awards, Election Results & Business Meeting (For All Attendees)

Registration for student services professionals is $35.00 per attendee.  Registration for Full-time Graduate Students of Associate Member Graduate Programs is free*

*Must be a currently enrolled, full-time graduate student of a master’s or doctorate program which has been approved as an ICCSSA Associate Member. Graduate students of non-ICCSSA Associate Member institutions are welcome to attend at the regular $35 rate. Working professionals who are also taking graduate coursework do not qualify for this discount and will be asked to pay the regular rate listed above.   • Outstanding New Professional
  • Distinguished Service Award
  • Outstanding Service Award
